The Mexico 50,000 Peso Series GY banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1990. It comes in a combination of purple, black, and brown. The obverse side features Aztec emperor Cuauhtemoc and a stylized Cuauhtemoc bird glyph. The back of the paper bill depicts the bank guilloche, the bank seal, and a Spaniard in armor fighting an Aztec bird as illustrated in Jorge Gonzalez Camarenas painting titled La Fusion de Dos Culturas in Chapultepec castle. The banknote measures 157 x 67 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread with printed text and a watermark that shows Cuauhtemoc. This Mexico 50,000 Peso banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
