This uncirculated 50 Mexican peso banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by Banco de Mexico as part of the 2017 W series. It is a magenta polymer banknote that is dated 16 January 2017, bears the signatures of Agustín Guillermo Carstens Carstens and Alejandro Alegre Rabiela, and measures 127 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side contains a stylized butterfly in SPARK, crossed cannons, a bow and arrow, and a portrait of Jose Maria Morelos. Its reverse side depicts a Mechuaca glyph, the bank seal, an 18th-century aqueduct, and monarch butterflies. Because it is a polymer banknote, it does not have a security thread or a watermark. The details of this banknote have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
