The Mexico 500 Pesos Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mexico in 1981 as part of Series AB. The banknote has a color combination of green, brown, and black. Featured on its obverse is Francisco Ignacio Madero Gonzalez. The reverse depicts the bank guilloche, the bank seal, carvings on the Stone of Tizoc, and the Aztec calendar stone. The note contains a watermark that reveals Francisco Ignacio Madero Gonzalez and a solid security thread with printed BANXICO 500 PESOS. It is 157 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
