This uncirculated 500 Mexican peso note is dated 14 March 1983 and signed by Banco de Mexico Cashier Gonzalo Garcia Rodriguez. It is part of the DE series. The note has green, brown, and black colors and measurements of 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features Francisco Ignacio Madero Gonzalez, the 39th president of Mexico who sparked the Mexican Revolution against Porfirio Diaz. Its reverse side features the Aztec stone calendar, some carvings from the Stone of Tizoc, the Banco de Mexico seal, and a bank guilloche. This note does not have a watermark nor security threads. However, it has a lithographed back.
