Mexico 500 Pesos Banknote, 1984, P-79b.5, UNC, Series DU

The Mexico 500 Pesos is part of the 1969-1991 Fourth Issues and belongs to the Series DU. It has colors green, brown, and black. Its obverse side features Francisco Ignacio Madero Gonzalez, a Mexican revolutionary, writer and statesman who served as the 37th president of Mexico. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows a bank guilloche, carvings on the Stone of Tizoc, an Aztec calendar stone, and a bank seal. This banknote which measures 157 x 67 mm, does not contain any security thread and does not use a watermark.
