The 2009 Mexican test note was released in 2009 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Banco de Mexicos banknote factory, which began operations in 1969. The obverse features the front design of the 200 Mexican peso and a hand signing the note. The 200 Mexican peso note features the Mexican poet, nun, and philosopher Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a parent and child near a tree overlooking the hills and mountains. Both sides of the note are vertically oriented. This specimen banknote is 155 x 77 mm in size and has no security thread and watermark.
