This uncirculated 1,000 Mongolian tugrik banknote is dated 2013 and signed by Mongol Bank Governor Naidansuren Zoljargal. Its obverse side honors the first emperor and the founding father of the Mongol Empire, Chinggis Khaan. Its reverse side portrays a domestic scene from a nomadic village with a camel, a yurt drawn by oxen, and a horseman. Security features include a radar serial number, a windowed security thread with demetalized MONGOLBANK and a watermark of Chinggis Khaan with an electrotype MB.
