The Mongolia 1,000 Tugrik banknote is part of the 2013 issues. It measures 152 x 72 mm. The obverse side shows a portrait of the founding father and first emperor of the Mongol Empire Chinggis Khaan, a Soyombo symbol, and a warrior riding on a horse. The reverse side features a view of a village, a camel, a yurt drawn by oxen, and a horseman. This TAP 60-70 Authenticated banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized MONGOLBANK and contains a watermark with a Chinggis Khaan and electrotype MB design.
