The Mongolia 1,000 Tugrik Banknote issued in 2013 features the founding father and first emperor of the Mongol Empire Chinggis Khaan. Emperor Khaans portrait stands out at the obverse of this bill. A Soyombo symbol, as well as a warrior riding on a horse, are also notable. The reverse side of the banknote is a view of a village, a camel, a yurt drawn by oxen, and a horseman.
