The Mongolia 5,000 Tugrik Banknote was issued by the Mongol Bank in 2018. This pink banknote bears Mongolian text. Its obverse features Chinggis Khaan who was the founder and first Emperor of the Mongol Empire. It also shows the Soyombo symbol and a warrior on horseback. The reverse depicts a building courtyard with a tree-like water fountain. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with demetallized MONGOLBANK. Its watermark reveals Chinggis Khaan and an electrotype Mongol text. The note is 152 x 72 mm in size and is signed by Bayartsaikhan Nadmid. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
