The Mongolia 5 Tugrik banknote is part of the 1994-2000 Issues. It is orange in color and it measures 150 x 72 mm. The obverse side bears the image of Chinggis Khaan, founder and first Great Khan of the Mongol Empire, a Soyombo symbol, and a warrior on horseback. Meanwhile, the reverse side features a building courtyard with a tree-like water fountain. The banknote uses a solid security thread, and it uses a watermark with Chinggis Khaan design. It was given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
