This uncirculated 500 Mongolian tugrik banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Mongol Bank that is dated 2003 and signed by Bank Governor Ochirbat Chuluunbat. It is a green banknote that measures 146 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows a portrait of Chinggis Khan, the Soyombo symbol, and a depiction of a warrior on horseback. Its reverse side depicts a nomadic village with an ox-drawn yurt and camel. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized MONGOLBANK and a watermark of Chinggis Khan with an electrotype of the bank initials in Cyrillic text.
