The Morocco 50 Dirhams banknote is part of the 2009 (AH1430) series. It is green in color and measures 147 x 70 mm. The obverse side shows an Arabic text, an OVI crown, Kings Mohammed VI, Hassan II, and Mohammed V, and stars. The reverse side features stars, a Bank French text, the Al-Maghrib headquarters building in Rabat, and a microprinted speech delivered in 1959 by Mohammed V at the opening of Bank Al-Maghrib. This TAP authenticated banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized 50 and Arabic text and contains a watermark with a King Mohammed VI and electrotype 50 design.
