Reviews:

The Mozambique 1,000 Meticais Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mozambique in 1980. It has a color combination of red, orange, and brown. Its obverse depicts the FRELIMO monument in Maputo, the coat of arms of Mozambique, and the first president, Samora Moises Machal with four young boys. The reverse displays a miner with an engine hauling coal cars. It also shows miners with drills, the bank logo that reflects a hoe and a pickaxe, and farmers and a combine in a field. The note contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals the bust of Smora Moises Machal. It is 140 x 68 mm in size. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
