This uncirculated 10,000 Mozambican metical note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Mozambique. It is an aqua, brown, orange, and green note that is dated 16 June 1991, bears the signature of Adriano Maleiane, and measures 150 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the national coat of arms, high-voltage power transmission towers, modern buildings and smokestacks, a farmer with a tractor, and Joaquim Chissano. Its reverse side shows the bank logo and a farmer with oxen. Security features include a reed inside a cog as a registration device, a solid security thread with printed MOCAMBIQUE, and a watermark of Joaquim Chissano.
