The Mozambique 100,000 Meticais banknote was released by the Bank of Mozambique in 1993. It has a combination of orange, red, and green colors. The obverse features the Banco de Mozambique headquarters building in Maputo, the coat of arms, and a reed inside cog as a registration device. The reverse side depicts a reed inside cog, the bank logo, a portion of the ceramic low relief on the front of the bank headquarters by artist Querubim Lapa de Almeida, and the Cahora dam. This banknote contains a solid security thread with printed MOZAMBIQUE and contains a watermark with a bank logo and 100000. The note is 166 x 66 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It also has a radar serial number and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
