This uncirculated 100 Mozambican escudo banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Bank of Mozambique in 1976. It is a green and violet banknote that is dated 27 March 1961, bear the signatures of Luis Pereira Coutinho and Francisco Jose Vieira Machado, and measures 166 mm x 86 mm. Its obverse side features Aires de Ornelas, the national coat of arms, and a horizontal black BANCO DE MOZAMBIQUE overprint. Its reverse side depicts the BNU seal. Security features include a solid security thread, a radar serial number, and a watermark that shows the coat of arms.
