Reviews:

The Mozambique 5,000 Meticais Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mozambique in 1988. It has a color combination of purple and brown. Its obverse features a wood carving by Alberto Mabungulane Chissano, a Malangatana Ngwenya painting, and the coat of arms of Mozambique. The reverse depicts the bank logo with a hoe and a pickaxe. It also shows three native warriors with shields and spears, and a modern band playing a xylophone and drums. The note contains a solid security thread. Its watermark reveals the bust of Samora Moises Machel. It is 140 x 68 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
