The Mozambique 50,000 Meticais banknote was issued by the Bank of Mozambique in 1993. It has brown, violet, and green color combinations and is presented in Portuguese. The obverse features the Banco de Mozambique headquarters building in Maputo and the coat of arms of the country. The reverse depicts the bank logo, a portion of ceramic low relief on the front of the bank headquarters by artist Querubim Lapa de Almeid, and the Cahora dam. This banknote uses a solid security thread with printed MOCAMBIQUE and contains a watermark with the bank logo and 50000. It also has a registration device in the form of a reed inside a cog. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and bears a radar serial number EH7850587. It is 156 x 66 mm in size and has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
