The Mozambique 50 Meticais Banknote was issued by the Bank of Mozambique in 1986. The obverse of this brown banknote features seven soldiers marching with bayonets on rifles. It also features mobile missile systems, the coat of arms of Mozambique, Trucks towing artillery pieces, and Samora Moises Machel delivering the Mozambique flag to the detachment of gorillas. The reverse of the note depicts the bank logo with a hoe and a pickaxe. It also shows a solar inspecting a rifle, trees, and soldiers hiking with rifles and knapsacks. Security features of this banknote include a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects the bust of Samora Moises Machel. The note is 140 x 68 mm in size. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
