Mozambique 500 Escudos Banknote, 1967 (1976 ND), P-118, PMG 66

The Mozambique 500 Escudos banknote is part of the 1967 issues. It is violet in color and measures 170 x 90 mm. The obverse side shows a horizontal black BANCO DE MOMBIQUE overprint, a Portuguese text, the Portuguese national coat of arms, and Caldas Xavier. The reverse side features a Portuguese text, the BNU seal with a ship, and the coat of arms. This banknote uses a solid security thread and contains a watermark with a man in uniform design. It is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
