The Nepal 100 Rupees Banknote was released by the Nepal Restra Bank between 1990 and 1995. It has a color combination of green and lilac. Its obverse side depicts the idol of Tara, Mount Nuptse, Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, and a portrait of King Birendra. Its reverse side depicts a one-horned rhinoceros in a grassy plain with the bank logo and the national coat of arms. Security features include a 1.2-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized NRB and a plumed crown watermark. It measures 146 mm x 70 mm and bears the signature of Hari Shankar Tripathi. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
