The Nepal 100 Rupees Banknote was issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank in 2019. The banknote comes in a color combination of green and lilac. Its obverse features Mount Everest with clouds. It also shows Mayadevi inside a silver metallic oval, the Ashoka pillar, a map of Nepal, and wood carvings from the temple of Taleju in Kathmandu. The reverse depicts an adult and a calf one-horned rhinoceros on a grassy plain. It also displays the bank logo. The contains a 2.0-mm wide red-to-green windowed security thread with demetallized NRB 100. It also shows a watermark that reveals a rhododendron. The banknote is 146 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Dr. Chiranjivi Nepal. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
