This uncirculated 20 Nepalese rupee banknote was introduced by the Nepal Rastra Bank in 1995. It is an orange and brown banknote that bears the signature of Satyendra Pyara Shrestha, has a segmented foil over the security thread, and has a 20-mm long serial number. Its obverse side features a portrait of King Birendra, the temple of Krishna of Patan, a Garuda, and an obverse of a coin. Its reverse side shows a swamp deer, the bank logo, and the national coat of arms. Security features include a 1.2-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized NRB and a plumed crown watermark.
