This uncirculated 20 Nepalese rupee banknote is a standard banknote introduced by the Nepal Rastra Bank in 2002. It is an orange and brown banknote that bears the signature of Tilak Bahadur Rawal and measures 138 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows a portrait of King Gyanendra, the temple of Krishna of Patan, a Garuda atop a pillar, and an obverse of a coin. Its reverse side depicts a swamp deer in its natural habitat, the bank logo, and the national coat of arms. Security features include a 1.2-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetalized NRB and a watermark of King Gyanendra. The banknote was demonetized in 2011.
