This uncirculated 5 Nepalese rupee banknote is a standard circulation banknote that bears the signature of Kalyan Bikram Adhikari. It is a pink, brown, and green note that measures 120 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side shows the   in Kathmandu, a portrait of King Birendra, and an obverse of a coin. Its reverse side depicts two yaks grazing on Mount Amadablam, columns, the Nepal Rastra Bank logo, and the national coat of arms. Security features include a solid security thread and a plumed crown watermark.
