The Nepal 5 Rupees Banknote was issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank between 2009 and 2010, It has hints of lilac, brown, and green. The obverse features King Gyanendra wearing a royal dress and a plumed crown. It also shows the temple of Taleju in Kathmandu and the obverse of a coin. The reverse depicts the bank logo, two yaks grazing, the coat of arms of Nepal, and Mount Everest. The note contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals King Gyanendra. It is 120 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Bijaya Nath Bhattarai. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
