The Nepal 5 Rupee banknote was issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank in 2020 with lilac, brown, and green color combinations. Its obverse features Mount Everest, the temple of Kasthamandap in Kathmandu, and the front side of a coin. The reverse of the paper bill is designed with the bank logo, a yak, and Mount Everest in the background. The banknote is 120 x 70 mm in size and carries a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects a Rhododendron plant. The banknote was printed by the China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation and bears the signature of Governor  Mr. Maha Prasad Adikari. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
