This uncirculated 500 Nepalese rupee note is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Nepal Rastra Bank. It is a brown and violet note that bears the signature of Satyendra Pyara Shrestha and measures 160 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features King Birendra in his royal dress and plumed crown, the god Indra, the view of Mount Amadablam and Thyangboche Monastery, and wood carvings. Its reverse side shows two tigers drinking melted snow, the bank logo, and the national coat of arms. Security features include a 2.5 mm-wide windowed security thread with a demetalized NRB and a watermark of King Birendra.
