The New Zealand 1 Dollar banknote is part of the 1967 issues. It is brown, orange, and green in color and measures 140 x 70 mm. The obverse side shows Queen Elizabeth II wearing Queen Alexandras Kokoshnik tiara, King George VIs festoon necklace, and Queen Marys floret earrings. The reverse side features clematis (Clematis paniculata) flowers, fantail/piwakawaka (Rhipidura fulginosa) bird, and a fern. This banknote uses a solid yellow security thread and contains a watermark with a Captain James Cook design. It is graded 65 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
