The obverse side shows Queen Elizabeth II wearing Queen Alexandras Kokoshnik tiara, King George VIs festoon necklace, and Queen Marys floret earrings. The reverse side features clematis (Clematis paniculata) flowers, fantail/piwakawaka (Rhipidura fulginosa) bird, and a fern.
