The New Zealand 1 Dollar Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand between 1981 and 1992. The note has hints of brown, orange, and green. Its obverse features Queen Elizabeth II wearing Grand Duchess Vladimir’s tiara and Queen Victoria's golden jubilee necklace. The reverse depicts clematis (Clematis paniculata) flowers and a fantail (Rhipidura fulginosa) bird. The paper bill contains a solid yellow security thread and a watermark that reveals Captain James Cook. The note measures 140 x 70 mm and bears the signature of H.R. Hardie. This particular paper bill is in circulated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
