The New Zealand 100 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 2016, printed on polymer.It has a color combination of violet, orange, and red. Its obverse side honors Lord Ernest Rutherford of Nelson, the father of nuclear physics. His portrait, a radioactivity graph, and a Nobel Prize medal are featured on the obverse side. Its reverse side features a South Island lichen moth, a Red Beech tree, a yellowhead mohua bird, and the Eglinton Valley in Fiordland National Park. It does not have a security thread or a watermark. It is 155 mm x 74 mm in size. This polymer banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
