The New Zealand 100 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 2016 and printed on polymer. The banknote comes in a color combination of violet, orange, and red. The obverse features Lord Rutherford of Nelson. It also displays radioactivity graphs, a Nobel prize medal, and a canary in gold SPARK. The reverse of the note is a South Island lichen moth, a red beech, and ferns. It also depicts a canary bird in Eglinton Valley in Fiordland National Park. The banknote bears a shadow image watermark and does not have a security thread. It measures 155 x 74 mm. This particular paper bill is in an uncirculated condition.
