This uncirculated 20 New Zealand dollar banknote is a specimen banknote introduced by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 1967. It is a green and orange banknote that bears the signature of Robert Neal Fleming, and measures 160 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side shows Queen Elizabeth II, a diagonal red SPECIMEN and DLR oval overprints, and a horizontal red SPECIMEN number. Its reverse side depicts a miro tree (Prumnopitys ferruginea), a wood pigeon/ kereru (Hemiphaga novaeseelandiae), and diagonal red SPECIMEN and DLR oval overprints. Security features include a solid yellow security thread, an all-zero serial number, and a watermark of Captain James Cook.
