This uncirculated 20 Dollars New Zealand note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. It is a blue, violet, and green polymer note that is dated 2018, bears the signature of Graeme Paul Wheeler, and measures 145 x 70 mm. Its obverse side features falcon in gold SPARK, Executive wing (The “Beehive”) and Parliament House building in Wellington, the outline map of New Zealand, Queen Elizabeth II wearing Hanoverian Fringe Tiara and matching necklace, Sovereign’s insignia of the Order of New Zealand, the New Zealand Order of Merit, Star, Sash, and Badge (obscured), The Queen’s Service Order, and Diamond Fern brooch presented by the women of Auckland in 1953 on her right shoulder. Its reverse side shows Marlborough rock daisy (Pachystegia insignis) flowers, flowering red tussock (Chionchloa rubra) grass, Mount Tapuaenuku, New Zealand falcon/karearea (Falco novaeseelandiae) bird, and ferns. Because the note is made of polymer, it does not have a security thread or watermark.
