The New Zealand 50 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in 2016. It has a combination of purple, orange, and brown and bears English and Maori texts. The obverse depicts Sir Apirana Ngata who was a salesman and politician. It also displays the Porouranngi Maori meeting house building in Waiomatatini Marae, a crow in green SPARK, and a tukutuku pattern. The reverse features sky-blue mushrooms, a blue-wattled crow bird, ferns, and the Pureora Forest. It does not have a watermark or security thread. It is 150 x 72 mm in size and is printed on polymer. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
