This uncirculated Nicaraguan 1 Cordoba note is part of the Cordoba Oro banknotes introduced in 1990. It bears the signatures of Emilio Pereira Alegria, Francisco Mayorga, and Raul Lacayo Solorzano. Its obverse side contains a sun rising over a cornfield, Spanish text, and a portrait of Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba, a conquistador who founded Granada and Leon. Its reverse side contains the national emblem of Nicaragua, a sunrise, and Spanish text. The note does not have a watermark. However, it has a solid security thread and dimensions of 156 mm by 67 mm.
