It is a green, olive green, pink, purple, and orange banknote that is dated 1985, bear the signatures of Joaquin Cuadra Chamorro and Luis Enrique Figueroa Aguilar, and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows the founder of the Sandinista National Liberation Front Carlos Fonseca Amador and a horizontal black 10,000 DIAZ MIEL CORDOBAS overprint.
