Nicaragua 10 Cordobas Banknote, 1985, P-151a, Series FB, UNC

The 10 Nicaraguan Cordoba banknote is part of the series of banknotes issued by the Central Bank of Nicaragua during the revaluation of the Cordoba in 1988. These banknotes are dated 1985 but were issued and circulated in 1988. The banknote has green, olive green, pink, purple, and orange colors. The note was demonetized in 1991. Its obverse side highlights the portrait of Comandante Carlos Fonseca Amador, the founder of the Sandinista National Liberation Front. Its reverse side shows the Sandinista militia (Milicias Populares Sandinistas). The security features of the note are a solid security thread and a watermark of Augusto Cesar Sandino. The note is 156 mm long and 67 mm wide.
