The 10 Nicaraguan Cordoba banknote is the smallest denomination of the 2014 family. Instead of paper, the note is made of polymer substrate. The note has two coconut trees as its registration device. The obverse depicts the scenery at Puerto Salvador Allende in Managua. The reverse highlights two La Vaquita dancers. The back side also has the Nicaraguan coat of arms. The security features of the note are a simulated security thread and a watermark 10. It measures 131 mm by 67 mm.
