The Nicaragua 20 Cordobas Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Nicaragua in 1979 as part of Series E. It has hints of orange, green, and purple. Its obverse features the founder of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, Comandante German Pomares Ordonez. The reverse depicts the Sandinista militia marching with rifles (Milicias Populares Sandinistas). The banknote contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals Augusto Cesar Sandino. It is 156 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Alfredo Alaniz Downing and Adolfo Ubilla Montoya. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
