This uncirculated 20,000 Nicaraguan Cordobas on a 20 Cordoba banknote is a provisional banknote issued by the Central Bank of Nicaragua in 1987. It is a purple, pink, orange, light green, and light blue banknote that is dated 20 October 1987, bear the signatures of Joaquin Cuadra Chamorro, Luis Enrique Figueroa Aguilar, and Noel Gonzalez Lopez, and measures 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side shows a horizontal black BCN/ 50,000/ CINCUENTA MIL overprint and a portrait of Comandante Carlos Fonseca Amador, a founder of the Sandinista National Liberation Front. Its reverse side depicts the celebration in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Managua in Plaza de la Republica on liberation day, 19 July 1979, and a horizontal black BCN/ 50,000/ CINCUENTA MIL overprint.
