The Nicaragua 50 Cordobas banknote is part of the 1985 issues, Series FB. It is red, brown, light green, orange, and light blue in color and measures 156 x 67 mm. The obverse side shows the military hero, Jose Dolores Estrada. The reverse side features a woman doctor giving a shot to a boy with a crowd waiting for popular health campaigns (Jornadas Populares de Salud). This TAP Authenticated banknote uses a solid security thread and contains a watermark with an Augusto Cesar Sandino design.
