The Nicaragua 500,000 on 1,000 Cordobas banknote is part of the 1987 issues, Series G. It is blue-gray, pink, and orange in color and measures 156 x 67 mm. The obverse side shows the revolutionary, General Augusto Car Sandino. The reverse side features the birthplace of General Augusto Car Sandino in Niquinohomo (Casa Natal de Sandino).
