Nicaragua 500 Cordobas Banknote, 1985, P-155, UNC

The Nicaragua 500 Cordobas Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Nicaragua in 1985. It has hints of purple, brown, pink, green, and orange. The obverse features Modernismo poet, Ruben Dario. The reverse displays a teacher at a blackboard standin in front of students seated at benches as part of the national literary campaign. The note contains a solid security thread. It also has a watermark that reveals Augusto Cesar Sandino. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Joaquin Cuadra Chamorro and Luis Enrique Figueroa Aguilar. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
