The Nicaragua 500 Cordobas banknote is part of the 2014 issues. It is red in color and measures 156 x 67 mm. The obverse side shows a denomination as a registration device, the Catedral de Le (Cathedral of Le), and a hexagon in green SPARK Orbital. The reverse side features the coat of arms and the Volc Momotombo (Momotombo stratovolcano near Le). This banknote uses a color-changing windowed security thread with demetalized flower and BCN and contains a watermark with a National flower, Plumeria alba/frangipani (Sacuanjoche-Flor Nacional) and electrotype 500 design. It is graded 67 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
