The Nicaragua 500 Cordobas Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Nicaragua in 2014. The obverse side shows the denomination as a registration device, the Catedral de Le (Cathedral of Le), and a hexagon in green SPARK Orbital. The reverse side features the coat of arms and the Volc Momotombo (Momotombo stratovolcano near Le). The banknote has a color-changing windowed security thread with demetalized flower and BCN. It also contains a watermark that reveals the national flower, Plumeria alba/frangipani (Sacuanjoche-Flor Nacional) and an electrotype 500 design. It is 156 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Ivan Adolfo Acosta Montalvan and Ovidio Reyes Ramirez. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
