This uncirculated 1 Nigerian pound banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 1967. It is a red and brown banknote that bear the signatures of Alhaji Aliyu Mai-Bornu, E. A. Iyanda, Mallam Yakubu Wanka, and Jabin Asidishor Obahor, and measures 153 mm x 83 mm. Its obverse side shows the Central Bank of Nigeria building in Lagos. Its reverse side depicts a man with a machete beating a date palm cluster.
