Nigeria 5 Naira Banknote from 2011 with a pick number P-38c is printed on polymer and features Prime Minister Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa. Additionally, the note bears a fancy serial number and has been graded 64 by the Paper Money Guaranty.


The Nigeria 5 Naira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2011 on polymer. On the obverse of the mauve banknote is Prime Minister Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and the bank logo. The reverse of the note depicts the map of Nigeria, four Nkpokiti dancers with drums, and the coat of arms of the country. The paper bill does not have a security thread. It contains a watermark that reveals the bank initials CBN. The note is 130 x 72 mm in size and bears a fancy serial number. It has also been graded 64 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
