The Nigeria 5 Naira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2011. Featured on the obverse of this mauve banknote are Prime Minister Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and the bank logo. The reverse of the note depicts the map of Nigeria, four Nkpokiti dancers with drums, and the coat of arms of Nigeria. The banknote does not have a security thread. It has a watermark that reveals CBN. The note is 130 x 72mm in size and is signed by Benjamin C. Onyido and Sanusi Lamido Aminu Sanusi. This particular banknote is printed on polymer and is in uncirculated condition.
